Summer Playdates
Emily loves her "twin sisters." It all started when we were shopping for Grayden and Camden. Emily held up the clothes we were getting for them and told everyone in the store, "These are for my baby sisters!" Everyone she told thought it was so cute that she was so proud of her new sisters. I just had to laugh and tell them she didn't have any new baby sisters. She has now adopted the twins as her "sisters." I have included some pictures from the twins website. Johanna takes such good pictures. I think I should hire her for family portraits!!

Dallas World Aquarium
This is the summer of animals. We visited the Aquarium to celebrate the end of summer. I wanted to spend a nice day with Emily before I went back to work. We also needed to escape from the renovations taking place at our house. Andy is working on putting in hardwood floors and we seem to be in the way a lot!

Sprinkler Fun!
When my mom told Emily she could run through the sprinkler, she wanted to know where the sprinklers were?!?? Wow! They popped out of the ground. Mom we definately need these at home! Grandma and Grandpa played in the sprinkler with Emily while mommy just watched.

We went to the Topeka Zoo and rode the Train. What a fun day with Grandma!! We went to see Grandma and Grandpa Carter after visiting with the Balaun Family. Emily really liked going through the tunnel on the train.
Seeing the birds and animals up close and personal was really neat for Emily. She loves the Mingos (Pink Famingos). We even got to see tiny mice.

Grandma and Grandpa Balaun's House
We all went to visit all of the Balaun family the last weekend in July. Grandpa Balaun was in a drag race, so we all came to cheer him on!! Emily thought the race was "too loud!!" Here is a picture of her giving mommy a "not nice" face when she just smiled nicely for Aunt Lizzie!!
She likes the horsey at Grandma and Grandpa's house!

Fort Worth ZooWe went to the Fort Worth Zoo. Emily loved all of the animals. She had to go back and see the giraffes and elephants for a second time before we left. They also have a Texas area that had the buggy. She "had to see inside."
