Six Flags Over Texas
Today was cooler and overcast, so Emily and I decided it would be a good day to go. Turns out we were right. We didn't have to wait in any lines. Emily rode so many rides and had lots of fun.

Posing with the M&M's. These were the only thing she would pose with. There were lots of characters she could have gotten her picture taken with including batman, Bugs Bunny, and the other Looney Tunes Character's, but NO! She was scared of them. We had to settle on M&M characters painted on a wall! Oh well, I can understand, I was deathly afraid of clowns when I was little!

Water Fun at Grandma and Grandpa Balaun's
Emily played in the sprinkler at grandma and grandpa's house. Then we went down to the water park for a little bit. She thought the water was a little cool! She is used to the warm water in Texas with 100 degree temps.

July 4, 2009

Happy 4th of July!
We watched fireworks two nights in a row. Friday night we watched them on Grandma Roe's balcony! Saturday night we had our own fireworks display. This was lots of fun for Emily and mommy too! We don't get to do fireworks in Texas so I think Emily really enjoyed it. She loved doing the smoke bombs and sparklers. She cried when it was all over and everyone was going home. She didn't want the fun to end!

We're going to the zoo!
We went to the zoo on Friday! The weather was really good. The animals were all out since it was pretty cool. We all took a train ride around Gage Park when we were done at the zoo.

Cousin Fun Time
Emily had so much fun with her cousin Myles. She got to feed him and give him rides in the truck! She really enjoyed seeing him and spending some time with him!

Grandpa's Big Catch
This was the big catch of the day. My dad caught a catfish weighing over 5 pounds (with my help!) He happened to be out in the boat with my brother so I pulled it in for him! If you ask Emily she will say mommy caught it! We have to give grandpa credit it was his pole!

Emily's First Fishing Trip!
These pictures are out of order. Emily had a little bit of beginners luck. We went out to my parent's pond and went fishing. Grandma helped Emily cast her line and not two seconds later there was a fish on it! She was very excited. She even walked over to Uncle David and had him cast a line to be pulled in a few seconds later with a bass on it! Uncle David even took her out in a boat. They went around the pond singing "Row, row, row your boat!" She had lots of fun fishing.
