Myles is here!
My new nephew has arrived. He was born Sunday, September 28th. What a precious little boy. I was hoping to have a birthday Buddy, however he decided not to arrive to the party on time! He was late, keeping the Carter tradition alive. (He was really a couple of days early but I thought the 23rd would have been right on time.) His daddy is so proud! Emily is a little jealous of Grandma holding him. "That is my grandma," she said.

Happy Birthday Mommy! I finally made it to 30!
Emily helped me eat some of my birthday cake. She wanted to know where my birthday party was going to be?!? Emily thinks 30 is kinda boring with no fun parties!! Mommy is getting old!

We went to our friend Camryn's 4th birthday party today. It was so fun. It was at Kidspark. Emily got to make a princess hat, eat cake, and play with lots of kids!

We were stuck inside today because of all of the rain. We did make a quick trip to Target, but we got drenched. We got Emily a new step stool for the bathroom. We measure her every couple of months on the door frame. She decided she would cheat when we measured her today. Wow, you have really grown!

Emily is ready to go swimming. My parents had a picture to hold over my head, now I have one for Emily's yearbook. She decided to put on her swimsuit all by herself. Instead of swim bottoms, she missed one of the leg holes and it became a skirt! Mini-skirt!! She completed the look with nice princess feather heels. I could barely stop laughing to take the picture.
