Mommy, you need a fudge bar!
Mommy has been really sick lately and has a sore throat. Emily suggested that I have a fudge bar to help my throat! Of course she needed one as well! She isn't wearing anything because it is right before bath time and I didn't want to ruin any clothes.

Happy Birthday Emily!
Just Kidding! Emily had a pretend birthday party with her dolls today. She broke out the party hats from her 2nd birthday. We have tried to tell her several times that her birthday isn't until January. She just replies, "no my birthday is today!" The twins are thrilled to be at the party!

When is it going to Snow?!?
Emily may be waiting a loooong time for snow! She decided to get her "snowsuit" on tonight to be ready just in case... I told her maybe when we went to Kansas for Thanksgiving! She wants to leave for Kansas right now. She even asked Annabelle (our dog) to go. She said that Annabelle likes the snow, too!

New Boots!
Autumn is upon us...for a day anyways! We have only had a couple of cool days here in Texas! Emily wanted to wear her new boots asap! Sooo cute! As you can see it isn't that cold, our flowers are still alive!

I'm A Big Kid Now!
Anyone that has ever talked to Emily knows how incredible verbal she is. The teacher in her old classroom used to tell us how refreshing it was to have Emily there to have a conversation with! Well the time has come to move Emily up to the three year old room. We took a "big girl" picture before school this morning. I was kind of worried that she wouldn't fit in since she is still pretty young, but she went in and sat right next to a girl that was at least a foot taller than her and started talking to her right away. Her old teacher came to visit her and see if she would like to come to her room for nap time and Emily's reply was "I want to be in the big kids class where they can talk to me!"

Emily wanted to put on her costume from last year. I tried to explain that it was too small for her, but she wouldn't have it! She stretched and pulled until it fit over her shoulders. I was afraid it was going to rip at the seams! After it was on she tried walking around the house and it was so tight she could only take tiny steps. She informed me that she would like to go "trick or treating, again!" She went and got her Easter basket to put the candy in. It goes together pretty well don't you think?!? She probably thought no one would recognize her in her lion costume and they would be happy to give her more candy!!
