Miss Molly
I added a few pictures for everyone to see how Molly is adjusting. She is sleeping and eating well. We had to take her in today for her second PKU test at the hospital. Mommy and Molly cried through the test, but all turned out well and Molly went back to sleep quickly after all of the drama. Before she fell asleep she did make a "what was that for???" face at us! She is 12 days old today!

Build-A-Bear (or Hello Kitty)
This Christmas was all about Hello Kitty. Emily got anything and everything Hello Kitty. Santa also knew that Emily had been asking to build a Hello Kitty for months now. He gave her a Build-a-Bear gift card in her stocking. She woke up early the day after Christmas and was ready to go to the mall and make her Hello Kitty! She had a lot of fun stuffing, washing, dressing, and making a birth certificate for her new friend. She has not parted from her Hello Kitty since!

Merry Christmas!
We had a very Merry Christmas this year. A happy healthy family. I took a picture of Emily on her new scooter, after that it was crazy. Emily was ripping open presents and Molly wanted to eat, eat, eat! No time for many pictures but here are a couple.

I am dreaming of a White Christmas!
Emily got two wishes this Christmas... to be a big sister and to have snow for Christmas. Andy and Emily bundled up and headed out in the blowing cold snow. They made snow angels with green grass underneath and a minature snowman. Sorry there are no pictures of the snowman, Emily used the head as a giant snowball to throw at Andy.

Early Christmas with the Carter side of the family.
Emily got to open her presents from Aunt Katy and Uncle Chris before they left to go back home. We had a nice visit with them. They took Emily swimming at their hotel and got to meet Molly. Merry Early Christmas!

Welcome Baby Molly!
Molly was born via c-section on Wednesday, December 16th, 2009 at 12:47pm. She weighed in at 6lbs 14oz. and was 18 inches long. She was in NICU for a short time for observation. She was turning blue shortly after birth, wasn't taking very deep breaths, and wasn't showing much of a sucking reflux. The doctors also heard a slight heart murmur. After spending a few hours in the NICU she took a little formula and started to take deeper breaths. The doctors no longer heard the murmur either. She was returned to us a healthy pink! The doctors said she just had a tough transition period. She is such a sweet girl and Emily is a very proud older sister. Check back frequently to see pictures of our two little princesses!
