Sprinkler Fun!
When my mom told Emily she could run through the sprinkler, she wanted to know where the sprinklers were?!?? Wow! They popped out of the ground. Mom we definately need these at home! Grandma and Grandpa played in the sprinkler with Emily while mommy just watched.

We went to the Topeka Zoo and rode the Train. What a fun day with Grandma!! We went to see Grandma and Grandpa Carter after visiting with the Balaun Family. Emily really liked going through the tunnel on the train.


Seeing the birds and animals up close and personal was really neat for Emily. She loves the Mingos (Pink Famingos). We even got to see tiny mice.

Grandma and Grandpa Balaun's House
We all went to visit all of the Balaun family the last weekend in July. Grandpa Balaun was in a drag race, so we all came to cheer him on!! Emily thought the race was "too loud!!" Here is a picture of her giving mommy a "not nice" face when she just smiled nicely for Aunt Lizzie!!

Fort Worth Zoo

We went to the Fort Worth Zoo. Emily loved all of the animals. She had to go back and see the giraffes and elephants for a second time before we left. They also have a Texas area that had the buggy. She "had to see inside."

For some reason my nickname in high school was Frosty Shakes. I could eat a Frosty from Wendy's everyday and still want more! I think Emily is taking after me!

Fun with Aunt Katy

We went to visit Aunt Katy and Uncle Chris this weekend. We were planning a trip to the zoo, but it rained of course. So we went to an indoor place to let Emily (and Katy) play and get their energy out. It was a really neat place. They had a play market, resturaunt, art area, stage, puppets, dress up, and countless toys to climb on and play with. Emily had so much fun. I think Katy had as much fun as Emily.
